Jerry, one of my all-time favorite people. He was always upbeat and personal, would do anything to help out. I also worked at W.V.W.C Post Office for my work study. NEVER a dull moment and I always looked forward to working with him. We all got the job done and had fun doing it. It was the best. The nicknames he gave me were another story. lol I also remember how I found out how he loved to dance, at Teresa's wedding. He was dancing with my mother who had sever back issues, they both boogied their butts off. She had a blast and definitely paid the price for weeks it is a special memory I will always cherish. Thank you, Brenda, Chris, and Megan for sharing him with us.
Thank you, Jerry. I will always be your friend, pal, buddy, and partner in mischief, Debbie Hoge (McCall) AKA... Knuckles :)

I worked with Jerry in the school post office in the mid-late 1990’s. Jerry was so patient, kind and helpful. He was always in a hurry to deliver mail in the mail truck but always made time to chat or send a welcoming wave. I truly enjoyed his company and time we shared working together. My deepest condolences for Jerry’s family and friends. May God comfort you during this difficult time.

Some of the best times at Wesleyan were working with Jerry in the post office. He always had a smile on his face, especially when talking about his grandkids. Such a loss
