Marvin Mearl Hall, age 84, of Buckhannon, WV, died Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Nella’s at Autumn Lake Healthcare in Elkins, WV. He was born December 28, 1939, in Shaw, WV, a son of the late Austin Mearl and Eunice Barb Hall. On May 8, 1959, he married Judy Chandler who preceded him in death on June 17, 2023. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two sons, Timothy Marvin and Kenneth Mearl Hall; two sisters, Mae Arnold and Norma Hall and three brothers, Junior, Norman, and Roger Hall. He is survived by three granddaughters, Anastasia Mackey and husband Ed, April Rene Parker and husband Greg and Ashley Nicole Hall; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Raymond Hall and wife Helen; one sister, Hope Harper and husband Ronald; one sister-in-law, Joyce Hall and several special nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Hall was a heavy equipment operator and a truck driver. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved to hunt and fish. In honoring Mr. Hall’s request, he will be cremated.
