Fighting back tears I want to leave this message to family and friends. Dad was a gentle, loving person who made everyone feel at home. At his bedside right before his passing I was asked if there was a way I could describe him or tell someone how he lived what would it be? I told them at the hospital he was selfless putting others before himself. He could be firm but more often gentle than not. He leaves a big pair of shoes to fill and a giant void in my life that I know will fade with time but will take a long time to fill. Love and miss you dad... We'll take care of things here...
