To the loving family of Mrs. Slaughter,
First, although we don't know each other I wanted to offer up my prayers and comfort to you all. My name is Nancy and I am one of the very lucky people who work with your David. We have a family here at work, too - and understand how much family means to David.
He has shown this through his leadership at work in many ways. And I think I know now where he got it from. Learning about his Grandmother and your family in her write up was an honor. Even if there were no write-up anyone can see what an impactful person she was in knowing David, and I'm sure in knowing the rest of your family.
I believe it is in this way that a wonderful person lives on. I hope you find comfort in each other, in her memory, and in any faith you may have as to her eternal existence.
