Justin was one of my best friends. He was in my wedding, with me on many adventures. His absence is felt so deeply. No longer will I hear his laugh, hear his thoughts on music or feel his abundance of love. I’m truly heartbroken.

I am a niece of Mary Mick Allman and am saddened to hear of Justin’s passing. Although I never met him, I never knew a kinder, nicer family. All of you are in my thoughts & prayers!

My deepest condolences Kathleen, to you and your family. I first met Justin 8th grade year, we shared many classes together and I was fond of him instantly, our paths would cross randomly throughout life and I was so excited when he moved back to Buckhannon. He gave my son a job mowing his yard the first summer he was back, i would stop to see him randomly at his shop just to say hello and he helped my daughter with her fundraiser a cpl years ago. I ran Into him not long ago and was so happy to see that smile of his. I am heartbroken that I will never see it again.

Honestly, I'm devastated to hear about this and deeply sorry for the loss, Kathleen. Justin was one of my better friends during and after high school albeit at a distance after the fact due to the two of us living in different states, but we did get back in touch which prompted his visit to Massachusetts some time ago. During high school, I donned him the nickname 'Pap' due to his penchant of wearing driving caps and that he often would often dispense life advice, which he seemed rather honored by. We would also discuss women, cars, guitars, music, and philosophy; or simply just drive around town or the backwoods of Buckhannon - usually with a few of us in tow. There was never a bad time hanging out with him. I looked up to Justin in certain ways, and even though I have not seen or talked to him in years, I will miss him greatly.

I am so profoundly sorry for your loss. I am devastated, too. Justin saw me through the darkest time in my life. He helped me believe that I deserved and could have a happy life. He was right. He also reminded me to appreciate the simple things, like birdsong and sunrises, which he loved. He loved harder and deeper than anyone I have ever known. He was a very special person, and part of my soul. I will especially miss his infectious laugh and the insightful conversations we had together. Justin became part of my family. Both my husband and my father grew to care deeply for him. I will try to focus on all the great memories I have of him. I just wish we had more time…
Justin, I will love you forever. You always liked to say that we were all just walking each other home. You are home now. God speed my friend. I will see you on the other side. Love, Lucinda

Dear Kathleen, sending our love, prayers and condolences to you. Justin was such a friendly neighbor, always waved and so kind when we spoke to him. He and Clay would chat about their golf game and then laugh. Kathleen, asking God to hold you close and give you His peace that passes all understanding.
