A message from uncle Chuck’s West Coast family:
Uncle Chuck will always hold a dear spot in our hearts. Our geographical distance never stopped us from recognizing his kind soul and love of family. He made the effort to stay connected despite being states apart; he shared family stories and photos and no matter how much time passed between calls, we always felt known and loved. We will always remember him as a man who helped others and opened his home to those of us who were able to travel out. We lost his older brother Jim way too soon, but uncle Chuck’s kindness, mannerisms and voice brought us such precious reminders of him. For us, he leaves a legacy of valuing family and remembering what’s really important. Though we mourn his loss here on earth, it is comforting to imagine the heavenly reunion of the Campbell brothers.
