My heartfelt condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the knowledge that God promises to end all suffering. Before long, God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”(Rev. 21:3,4). May this promise from God give you comfort now and a real hope for the future. My deepest sympathy.

How can one begin to explain the pain that is felt by so many at the sudden loss of such a wonderful person? I only knew Jesse for a brief time, but considered him a close friend. It is rare that an individual enters your life and makes such an impact in a short time, but he did. I worked with Jesse. He was my aid, but the more accurate title would have been “co-teacher.” It was his knowledge and expertise that allowed he and I to accurately build a foundation from which to properly assist the students in which we were assigned to teach. At first, I wasn’t sure I could even do it without him. Now, I know that is exactly what I will do… what I must do. Mr. Jesse Brent Poling was a kind soul that will be deeply missed by those who had the pleasure to come to know him. While those left behind continue to mourn his passing, take some comfort in knowing we are better having had the time with him that we did have… though be it much too short.

I worked with Jesse at a couple different places. I was lucky to have such a kind, caring soul to call a friend. I enjoyed getting to talk with Jesse, and he could always make me smile. Jesse was witty, sarcastic, funny, and caring. He will be missed.
