I havent seen Dave in years, I remember him being a volunteer at the Rock Cave Fire Department, I remember that he always seemed happy and full of energy. Back in those days it was not uncommon for him to be down in our garage, working on cars, four wheelers, tinkering with stereos, etc. When my brother called me to say he lost one of his best friends. I could hear the heartbreak in his voice. He meant so much to so many. Condolences to all his family and friends.

Where do I begin? You are one of the greatest friends that Rodney and I have. You helped us so many times whether it was working on a vehicle, loaning your trailer, or just being there for Rodney when he needed a friend who would listen. I never saw you without a smile on your face, a kind word to say, or hug if needed. Your grandchildren were your world, I remember when you first found out you were going to be a grandpa, you were beyond excited. Rodney is taking this really hard, you were there for him when he needed to talk, vent or just hang out. He will forever remember the nights he spent in your garage telling jokes and talking shop. I will forever be grateful for your friendship with him and for everything you did for our family. A piece of our heart went with you, we will look forward to the day when we meet again on the other side of the golden gates. Rest easy my friend, heaven just gained a very special man, husband, father, grandfather and friend. Nikki, I am so sorry for your loss, we love you all and will always be here if you need anything.
Lobe & prayers always,
Rodney & Angela

Nicole, we are so sorry for your loss. We're so honored to share grandchildren with you and Dave. His loss is tragic, and he will be terribly missed. Just know that we get to see Dave everyday in the faces of the grandbabies. He was like a father to Kyle, and I never worried about his wellbeing as long as he had you, Dave, and Ariel by his side. My only regret is that we never took the time to know him better. Bless you all.

From the moment I walked into your life, you treated me with the most kindness. You took me & Mason in without a second thought. You made sure he had what he needed until I was able to provide those things & you still provided as much as you could even when we didn’t need it. You taught me how to parallel park in less than 20 minutes & I passed my drivers test first time. Who on earth is just that awesome? You. You were a great father, grandfather, & HUSBAND. You are loved beyond measure by so many people. I can’t thank you enough for all you’ve done for my family. You are the reason my life is on the right track. Why? Because you & Nichole raised such a fine young man that I can call my husband. I will cherish every single memory I have with you. & I will make sure that my babies ALWAYS know how AMAZING their Papa is. ❤️ I love you just as much as I love my own daddy. I pray that you rest easy. Watch over us all, angel.
