I believe I served in the Navy with you in the early 1960s aboard the USS Mississinewa and ComServForSixthFlt as a Signalman. Rest in peace my friend. Everyone should thank you for your service.

Our love and prayers go out to all the family. George was like a brother to me too.
He was always helping others and loved his family with all his heart. I know he loved being a grandpa too. George was the best and I will miss him.
I will always remember his laugh and grin.
We love and miss you.

Loosing someone we love is so difficult. Saying goodbye to my brother George is heartbreaking. Yet I celebrate his entrance Into heaven and being with our Lord and Savior. It is what we all strive to accomplish. George lived his life as a Christian, loving his fellow man, helping and giving generously of his time and anything he had, making those around him feel welcome and wanted plus witnessing about Jesus. He loved our family completely and unconditionally. I remember him carrying me in his shoulders when I was a child. Letting me count the change he had in his pocket (I got to keep what I was able to count). Playing the guitar, and him letting me wearing his Navy Peacoat around the house, taffy pulls, water fights, rides to school in the mustang and so
Much more. It is the little things that stick out. I was loved by my brother and I love him to the moon and back. Always a and a day!

My thoughts and prayers to the family. Mr. Hunt was a very sweet, soft spoken man, who loved God and his family. I hope you find comfort and peace in the fact he is walking those beautiful streets and getting to see the face of our Savior.
