I’m so very sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in Acts 24:15 that says, “There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous.” What a wonderful hope God give us for the near future to be able to see our dear loved ones again. My condolences.

I pray to God that my entry is not offensive to anyone. I first learned of Mr. Koon when the internet became popular in about 1992 while I lived in Tulsa Oklahoma. I did a search for my name "Denver Koon" and Mr. Koon also was a result of my search. We shared what I have always considered to be a unique first name, but then that was elevated to even a higher level by us having the same last name. I was often tempted to reach out to Denver and introduce myself to him. I would have most certainly ask that we meet and just share stories of our life experiences and see if there were similarities. Today I am saddened to find when I did my search for Denver Koon, Mr Koon's obituary surfaced.
I would like to offer my most sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of Mr. Koon. I pray for the family and ask God to give you each strength through faith to hold you firm and steady. May goodness and mercy always be with you.

My heart goes out to family and friends, Denver was always glad to lend a helping hand. While sitting on the back porch, looking on to the hills and into the sky He shared many amazing stories about his encounter with the Lord. He will be missed, but ohhhh what it is now for Denver--he's with our heavily father....Glory!

Denver was such an amazing man. He was a good friend of my Dads when they were young and he was always good to me. He was always witnessing to others and sharing his love for the Lord. I’m very saddened by his passing. Love and prayers go out to his family. RIP Denver

Praying for the family. He was a wonderful person and truely loved the Lord with all his might.
I am so thankful I was able to know him growing up as a child and then the privilege of serving along him for ministry opportunities at Cornerstone.
