Ed, Ron and I are very sorry to learn of Jane's death. We have very good memories of years past at Strawberry Festival events, visiting with both of you. I've loved seeing you on our street through all these years. I've noticed in the last few years you've mostly been by yourself and I wondered how Jane was doing. I'm sorry that her health had evidently deteriorated through this time. We wish you all the best in the days going forward and if we can ever help you in any way, please let us know.

Dear Ed and Susan and family, Sorry we could not express our condolences in person but know that we are praying for God's comforting love to you all. We first met in Frame WV. when Susan and Ariana were in third grade. Jane introduced me to Beta Sigma Phi when we lived there as well. She was a big help to me at that time. We had some great conversation that has stayed with me through the years. Praying for you all. Love, Larry and Peggy.

Ed,
Jane was a wonderful lady. I will remember the good times together with you and Jane, as baseball parents cheering the boys on or working tirelessly with the Strawberry a Festival. She is now at rest with her Heavenly Father that we all knew she loved. I remember doing some strawberry times when she would look at some board members and remind them what was right. I will keep you the kids in my prayers for comfort from the one you gives it. Barbara Reger

Ed, Will & Susan:
Jane was an amazing lady! Whether it was 5th grade Sunday School at CHUMC, the WV Strawberry Festival, singing at talent shows at church or getting the dreaded shot at Dr. Reed's office she always smiled and made the day better. She taught me from a young age how to navigate life's storms, having faith in something greater than me and loving those around me. The world is less bright today without her in it. She will never really be gone as so many people were touched by her and inspired by her. She was a type of lady that walked the walk. The way she and Ed loved each other was noticed and inspiring to all of those blessed to be around them.
You all will be in my prayers and thoughts during this difficult time. Much love to you and yours.

Jane and I were wonderful childhood friends. She spent many nights in my home and I in hers. I had no brothers or sisters and Jane become not only my friend but my "sister" as well. My parents loved having her in our home. We shared many laughs and giggles. I had not seen her for several years until about 4 years ago, we happened to be in the same doctors office. Again, we laughed and giggled as we talked about the fun times we had shared. She will now be at peace but so greatly missed by family and friends. You are all in my prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of Jane's passing. She was such a caring nurse for us at Dr. Reed's office, and our friendship continued through her years at Chapel Hill. Her dedication to her faith was an inspiration to so many, especially her many Sunday school kids. I will be praying for Ed and the kids.

As girls we liked to go for walks on country roads. Jane was my “giggle” cousin. She always had something to smile about. Growing up Jane was a big help to her mom. She learned to bake very young. The last thing I can remember eating was her peanut butter fudge (yum-yum)! I will miss her but our memories will live on.

Ed, Will, Susan and family,
Our prayers are with you as you celebrate Jane's life. Jane was a joy and blessing to all she came in contact with. Jane loved to sing in the choir at Chapel Hill and we were all blessed to have her as a choir member and friend. She shared her many talents of singing, teaching, art, organizing, and baking with her church and community. She is missed and her memory will live in our hearts forever!
