Mr. Warner was magistrate when I went in to pay a ticket in Buckhannon for running a stop sign near the new road where the interstate is now, when it was all under construction. I was a young mother and had my kids and my Aunt Pearl with me when it happened. I was in the wrong, and I was so nervous, and he was so very kind to me. I will never forget it. God bless all the family, Ruth and everyone, as you remember him. He was a gracious man. What a long and full life he lived.
