Obituary of Lora Belle Campbell

Lora Belle Campbell Lora Belle Campbell, age 80, of French Creek, WV died Monday, January 4, 2016 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. She was born January 5, 1935 in Kanawha Run, WV, a daughter of the late John and Ruth Riggleman Smallridge. On December 24, 1953 she married William Clyde Campbell who survives. Also surviving are four sons, Bill Campbell and wife Sandy, Bob Campbell and wife Cathy, Mike Campbell and David Campbell and wife Nichole all of French Creek; one daughter, Ruth Tolliver and husband Roger of Rock Cave, WV; two grandsons, Brad Tolliver and wife Elizabeth of Rock Cave and Tyler Campbell of French Creek; four granddaughters, Lori Cooke and husband Brian of Casar, NC, Amy Richman of Rock Cave, Jennifer Small and companion Reno Tyson and Ariel Campbell both of French Creek, one great-grandson, Noah Richman of Rock Cave; five great-granddaughters, Jaden Richman of Rock Cave, Emmalee Small of French Creek, Kaylee Cooke of NC, Hannah Tolliver of Rock Cave and Nevada Tyson of French Creek; two brothers, Edward E. “Gene” Smallridge of Sarasota, FL and Dana W. Smallridge of AZ; a sister and best friend, Verna Mae “Pratt” of Buckhannon; one brother in law, William “Bill” Heaster of Weston, WV; special friend and neighbor, Carolea Frame of French Creek and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Dick, Beryl, Hayes and Jesse Smallridge and one sister, Opal Heaster. Mrs. Campbell loved being a homemaker and cook for her extended family. She enjoyed yard work, gardening and her rock gardens. She was a lifetime member of the Stonecoal Lake Fishing Club. A special thank you to Dr. Jessica Harvey, Amber Biggie, UHC emergency, UHC Nurses, Elizabeth Tolliver RN and Linda Tyson. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 1-3 PM at the Rock Cave Independent Baptist Church. A celebration of Life Service Saturday 3 PM at the church with Pastor David Jessie. Dinner to follow at the family life center. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Kanawha Run United Methodist Church of French Creek and or Rock Cave Baptist Church.
