Obituary of Danny Russell Corder

Daniel Danny Russell Corder Daniel “Danny” Russell Corder Daniel “Danny” Russell Corder, age 62, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, December 6, 2015 at his home. He was born July 1, 1953 in Newport, VA, a son of the late Edward Jackson Corder and Patty Joan Grogg Corder of Buckhannon. In addition to his mother he is survived by his long-time companion, Vickie Crawford Garrison of Buckhannon; three sons, Tyler Corder of Buckhannon, Patrick Corder and wife Abby of Zanesville, OH and Jason Corder and wife Alisa of Columbus, OH; one grandson, Tanner Corder of Zanesville; three granddaughters, Emilee Corder of Zanesville, Hayley Corder of Columbus and Indie Irene Garrison of Buckhannon; one brother, Stephen Corder and wife Glenda Ann of Buckhannon; one sister, Nancy Wheeler and husband Bill of Buckhannon; four nephews, Chris Corder and family, Cameron Corder and wife Elizabeth, Andrew and Matthew Wheeler all of Buckhannon; three great nephews, Ethan, Levi and Caleb Corder all of Buckhannon; two great nieces, Emma Corder and Maci Wheeler both of Buckhannon and former wife, Vicki Hyre Simmons of Buckhannon. Danny was a business owner, equipment operator and concrete finisher. He graduated from BUHS in 1971 and WV Wesleyan College in 1975 with an Accounting Degree. Danny was an avid Mountaineer, Pirate and Steelers fan. He enjoyed going to the movies, collecting Marvel comic books and working crossword puzzles. Friends will be received Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 5-7:30 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held 7:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home with Rev.
