Gregory James Chandler A private family service will be held at a later date Gregory James Chandler Gregory James Chandler, age 38, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, May 30, 2015 in Montgomery, TX. He was born April 12, 1977 in Buckhannon, a son of Janet Phillips Chandler of Buckhannon and the late R. Richard “Dick” Chandler. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one brother, Eric Chandler and wife Ursula of Purcellville, VA; one sister, Amy Chandler of Falling Waters, WV; four nephews, Jackson, Gus, Owen and Izak and three nieces, Lucy, Ayla and Alia. Greg had a deep love for his family and adored his father. He loved fishing, wood working and playing guitar. Greg was a chef at the Grove Park Inn, The Lodge in St. Simons Island, Carlton Woods of the Woodlands, Brennan’s of Houston, The Greenbrier Resort, the Bridgeport Conference Center and the Homestead in VA. In 2004, Greg was one of five culinary chefs to prepare meals for the World’s leaders at the 30th G8 Summit on Sea Island, GA. There will be a private family service held at a later date.
