Shirley Adams Shirley Ann Adams Shirley Ann Adams, age 74, of Buckhannon, WV, died Friday, February 22, 2013 at her home. She was born July 20, 1938 in Webster Springs, WV, a daughter of the late Foster and Lydia Brooks Cool. She is survived by her husband of 37 years Garry Duane Adams. Also surviving are two daughters, Wilma Riffle of Buckhannon and Vickie Harmon of VA; two sons, Ron McQuain of Houston, TX and Mark McQuain of Australia; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four brothers, Carvil, Ray and Robert Cool all of Medina, OH and Roy Cool of Webster Springs and two sisters, Rita Dunkley of VA and Irene Taylor of SC. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Marvin Cool. Mrs. Adams was a wrapper operator for Moore Business Forms and was a member of the Ladies Aux. of the Buckhannon VFW Post # 3663. Friends will be received Monday, February 25, 2013 from 6-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 10 AM Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wease L. Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
