Beulah M. Carver Beulah M. Carver Beulah M. Carver, age 88, of Buckhannon, WV died Friday, April 10, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born April 30, 1926 in Upshur County, WV, a daughter of the late Earl B. and Iva M. Wilson Sayre. On February 14, 1948 she married Noah “Raz” Carver who preceded her in death on December 16, 1992. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a step great-granddaughter, Hannah Cook; one brother, Burton O. Sayre and one sister, Mary Lou Brady. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Campbell and Mary Ellen Lemons and husband Steven both of Buckhannon; two grandsons, Bradley Lemons and wife Jennifer of Weston, WV and Brian Lemons and Lori Perry of Buckhannon and one granddaughter, Courtney Martiny and husband Adam of Dayton, VA. Mrs. Carver worked for WVU Extension service and was an employee of Corning Glass/Corhart Refractories where she held numerous positions until her retirement. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, playing cards and traveling. Friends will be received Monday, April 13, 2015 from 4-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. J. Edward McDaniels officiating. Burial will follow in the Upshur County Memorial Park in Tennerton, WV.
