Funeral Service Friday, Janauary, 10, 2014 at 2 PM Burial Buckhannon Memorial Park Joan Coughlin Joan Coughlin, age 81,of Buckhannon, WV, died Sunday, January 5, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born September 24, 1932 in Rainelle, WV, a daughter of the late Ronald Ralph and Maude M. McClung Keaveny. On September 12, 1953 she married Billy Levon Coughlin who preceded her in death on January 26, 1996. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Janet Herndon; three brothers, Ronald, Loy and Tommy Keavney; two sisters, Rebecca Darone and Louella Guy and a daughter in law, Krista Coughlin. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Nesbitt and Christine Carpenter both of Buckhannon; two sons, Billy Coughlin of Miami, FL and Denzil Coughlin of Buckhannon; two granddaughters, Pamela Coughlin and Alice Jeffries both of Buckhannon; two grandsons, Roy Nesbitt and wife Brandi and Jasper Carpenter and wife Michelle all of Buckhannon; four great-granddaughters, Jessica Cutright, Alayna Nesbitt and Jillian Carpenter all of Buckhannon and Kristen Nesbitt of Huttonsville, WV; two great-grandsons, Roy Wade Nesbitt, Jr. and Jonathan Carpenter both of Buckhannon; one brother, Gene Keaveny and wife Kim of Fayetteville, NC and a sister-in-law, Andrea Workman of Buckhannon. Mrs. Coughlin was a homemaker and she enjoyed Bingo. Friends will be received Friday, January 10, 2014 from 1-2 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Friday at the funeral home with Sister in Christ Mary Rosencrance officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon.
