Obituary of Stanley Chidester

Stanley Chidester Stanley B. Chidester Stanley B. Chidester, age 51, of Buckhannon, WV, died Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. He was born February 15, 1962 in Buckhannon, a son of the late Raymond and Patty Peck Chidester. On June 17, 1979 he married Carol Spangler who survives. In addition to his wife he is survived by one son, Stanley B. Chidester Jr. and wife Rindi of Buckhannon; two daughters, Crystal Chidester and fiancé Tim Champ and Mindy Chidester and fiancé Mitch Replogle all of Buckhannon; one grandson, Dylan Replogle of Buckhannon; four granddaughters, Shelby and Sydney Winans, Carlee Champ and Destiny Chidester all of Buckhannon; one brother, Steve Chidester and wife Bobbie of Canaan, WV; six sisters, Carol Workman and fiancé Timothy Gooden, Brenda Crouse and husband Terry, April Chidester and Rebecca Long all of Buckhannon, Sheila Chidester of Charleston, WV and Kimberley Perrine and husband Dave of Gaines, WV and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Chidester; paternal grandparents, Tilman and Dolly Sines Peck and maternal grandparents, Worthington and Sarah Strader Chidester. Mr. Chidester was a loving father, grandfather and husband. Friends will be received Saturday, December 21, 2013 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jerry Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the Canaan Church Cemetery in Canaan.
