untitled3 Lucille Marie Armstrong Lucille Marie Armstrong, age 84, of Wheeling, WV, died Friday, March 9, 2012 at the Gaston Memorial Hospital in Gastonia, NC. She was born February 20, 1928 in Upshur County, a daughter of the late Morris and Beulah Tenney Craven. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Junior Armstrong. On June 20, 1946 she married Duard “Buck” Armstrong who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Carole Griffin and husband Gerald of Mount Holly, NC; daughter-in-law, Sharlet Armstrong of Myrtle Beach, SC; four granddaughters, Kendra Barzak and husband Jason of Columbus, OH, Michelle Bauer of Glendale, WV, Ashley Griffin of Mt. Holly and Amanda Sharpe and husband John of Clover, SC; three grandsons, Cody Griffin of Mt. Holly, Glen Lowe and wife Heather of St. Louis, MO and Andrew Lowe of Myrtle Beach, SC; one grandson-in-law, Mike Bauer of Wheeling; three great grandsons and four great granddaughters; three sisters, Margaret Meredith of Elkins, WV, Betty Strader of Hodgesville, WV and Lorietta Tenney and husband Stanley of Tallmansville, WV. She was a member of the Tallmansville Baptist Church. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Tuesday, March 13, 2012 from 10-11 AM. Graveside services will follow at the Buckhannon Memorial Park with the Rev. Brad Tenney officiating. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
