Obituary of Clifford Roy Crites

untitled3 Clifford Roy Crites, Sr. Clifford Roy Crites, Sr., age 72, of Buckhannon, WV, died Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at his home. He was born September 29, 1941 in Independence, OH, a son of the late Hoy and Ruth Killinsworth Crites. On August 9, 1977 he married Barbara Lowe who survives. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons Todd Lowe and wife Stephanie of Mocksville, NC and Clifford Crites, Jr. of Beaumont, CA; four grandchildren; one brother, Robert Eugene Crites of NE; three sisters, Bernice Ewanko of Ambridge, PA, Violet Wasko of Baden, PA and Dortha Rexroad and husband Lynn of Tallmansville, WV and one nephew, Alan Crites of Buckhannon. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Albert, Evert and Leroy Crites and Burton Sines. Mr. Crites attended the Buckhannon Union Mission Church in Buckhannon. He was a Bus Driver in Upshur County for over 20 years. The family would like to thank his daughter-in-law, Stephanie Lowe and his nephew, Alan Crites for taking excellent care of Mr. Crites. Friends will be received Friday, November 15, 2013 from 6-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis Estes officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Dale Cemetery in Selbyville, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
