untitled1 Juanita Ruth Cobb Juanita Ruth Cobb, age 76, of Buckhannon, WV died Monday, June 7, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born February 21, 1934 in Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late Hubert and Ruby Opal Thaxton Walker. On September 22, 1956 she married Harold Cobb who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Deborah McGlumphy-Anderson and husband Edwin of Fairmont, WV and Bobbie Cobb of Buckhannon; one grandson, Nick McGlumphy of Fairmont; one granddaughter, Resa McGlumphy of Fairmont; one step grandson, Eddie Anderson of Morgantown, WV; one step granddaughter, Heather Anderson of Morgantown and two brothers, Clayton Walker of OH and Stephen Allen Walker of Crosslanes, WV. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Hershel Lee, Ronald Gene and Daniel Wayne Walker and one sister, Loretta Mae Walker. Mrs. Cobb was a homemaker and a member of the Way Of Holiness Church. She was an avid bowler, a member of the Alley Cats Bowling League and also a member of the Sheriff’s Assoc. Friends will be received Wednesday, June 9, 2010 from 2-4 & 6-9 PM at the Way Of Holiness Church. She will Lie in State at the church on Thursday from 1-2 PM the funeral hour with Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
