ClevengerLinda Linda Sue Clevenger Linda Sue Clevenger, age 60, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, April 19, 2009 at her home under the care of St. Joseph’s Hospice. She was born January 25, 1949 in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Charles Edward Hollen and Mary Elizabeth (Johns) Hollen House. On December 10, 1982 she married Ronald J. Clevenger who survives. Also surviving are one son, James Chewning of Buckhannon and his children, James Chewning, Jr., Amber, Brittany and Faith Chewning all of Buckhannon and one daughter, Tonya Kennedy of Buckhannon and her children, Victoria Chewning of Buckhannon, Vanessa Chewning of Kesling Mill, Brandon Kennedy and Catalena Kennedy both of Buckhannon; two great-grandchildren, Jaiden Workman of Buckhannon and Colby Ball of Kesling Mill; one brother, Hartzel Hollen of Buckhannon and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Ronald Blaine Chewning; two brothers, Russell “Chuck” Hollen and Eddie Hollen and one sister, June Ours. Linda was a homemaker. She attended Buckhannon Church of God and was a member and Secretary of The Modern Homettes CEO’s. Friends will be received Thursday, April 23, 2009 from 5-9 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
