CanfieldLinda Linda S. Canfield Linda S. Canfield, age 61 of Buckhannon, WV died Thursday, December 18, 2008 at her home. She was born February 12, 1947 in Buckhannon the daughter of the late Howard and Tina Smith Teter. On August 28, 1965 she married Roy “Ed” Canfield who survives. Also surviving are two sons David Canfield and wife Sue Ann of Levittown, PA and Allen Canfield and wife Holly of Buckhannon; two grandchildren; three brothers, Bill Teter and wife Lou, Tom Teter and wife Judy and Jerry Teter and wife Teresa all of Buckhannon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Bob Teter. After living 11 years in Northern Virginia Linda returned to Upshur County and purchased another horse which she road on many trail rides with the Upshur Trail Riders as well as riding in the Strawberry Festival Parade. She worked in the oil and gas industry having worked for Petro Lewis, SW Jack, J & J Industries, Equitable Resources and Intervest. She held several positions from production clerk to office manager. A Memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the Reger Chapel United Methodist Church on the Brushy Fork Road with Dr. Arthur Holmes and the Rev. Richard Ogden officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Camp Mahonegon: c/o Dwight Jenkins PO Box 1249 Clarksburg, WV 26302. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial Service Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 2 PM Reger Chapel United Methodist Church on Brushy Fork Road
