CochranMickey Mickey L. Cochran Mickey L. Cochran, age 72, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, March 16, 2008 at United Hospital Center in Clarksburg, WV. He was born July 26, 1935 in Caperton, WV, a son of the late William Jesse and Lily Mae Christian Cochran. On June 10, 1968 he married Phyllis Jean House who survives. Also surviving are four sisters, Anna Mae Handschumacher of Dearborn, MI, Betty L. Martin of Westland, MI, Nina J. Cox and husband Paul of Lexington, TN and Jeanetta Brasel of Omaha, NE. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred F. Harmon and four brothers, Vernon W. Tracy, Reginald V. Cochran, Burnell N. Cochran and William Jesse Cochran, Jr. Mr. Cochran was a U.S. Deputy Marshall for Federal Court. He was a member of the Wayside Southern Baptist Church in Buckhannon. Mr. Cochran served in the U. S. Army. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at Wayside Southern Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Knotts officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Veterans Cemetery in Buckhannon. Buckhannon VFW Post # 3663, Frank B. Bartlett Post# 7 American Legion, DAV Chapters # 5 & 36 will conduct Military Honors at the graveside. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
