Katherine D. Bauer, age 74, of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Genesis Health Care in Glenville, WV. She was born March 19, 1941 in Darkenmore, WV, a daughter of the late Lewis and Noami Beall Skelton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Jeff, Harry and Steve Skelton and two sisters, Vera Barber and Pat Hamner. She is survived by one son, Kevin Lee Skelton and wife Sam of WV; one daughter, Jill Ula Baker and husband Fred of Petersburg, VA; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild and three brothers, Gene Skelton of WV, Fred Skelton of MD and Thomas Pete Skelton and wife Millie of Buckhannon. Mrs. Bauer was a LPN. She was a member of the Senior Companion in Parkersburg, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
