Funeral Service Monday, April 6, 2015 at 2 PM Funeral Home Burial Heavner Cemetery Mary Maxine Bennett Mary Maxine Bennett, age 94, of Buckhannon, WV died Friday, April 3, 2015 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon. She was born January 15, 1921 in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Archie Baxter and Edna D. Moats Bennett. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Emma Jean Bennett and four brothers, Ike, Woody, Steve and Truman Bennett. She is survived by one daughter, Dorothy Marie Lively and husband James of Buckhannon; one son, Ed Bennett and Linda England of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Tammy Hatfield and husband Butch of Buckhannon; two grandsons, Cory Kelley of TN and Eddie Bennett and wife Crystal of Montrose, WV; three great-granddaughters, Holly and Haley Kelley both of TN and Katelyn Bennett of Buckhannon; seven great-grandsons, Brett, Jack and Aidan Wilson all of Buckhannon, Josh Poling of Buckhannon, Brandon and Anthony Bennett both of Montrose and Cason Kelley of TN; four sisters, Louise Bennett and Barbara Sue Coker both of Buckhannon and Elaine White and Wanda Baughman both of Kirkville, NY; two brothers, Charles Bennett and wife Mary of French Creek, WV and Pete Bennett and wife Sue of Warren, OH and special friend, Sylvia Casto of Buckhannon Mtn. Rd., WV. Mary loved to work in her yard and flower garden. She was a Christian by faith and a baker for Aladdin Food Services. Friends will be received Monday, April 6, 2015 from 12 Noon until 2 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Ed Lowther officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
