Alma Pearl Brady Alma "Pearl" Brady Alma “Pearl” Brady, age 93, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Serenity Care Home in Buckhannon. She was born March 10, 1921 in Harrison County, WV, a daughter of the late James Wesley and Alma B. Crawford Metzgar. On December 14, 1945 she married Kyle O. Brady who preceded her in death on August 7, 1989. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Ray O. Brady and two brothers, James and Paul Metzgar. She is survived by one son, Robert C. Brady and wife Diane of Jacksonville, FL; two grandsons, Robert Jason Brady of Lanexa, VA and John Wesley Brady of KY; one granddaughter, Beverly Price of Proctorville, OH and one sister, Jean Gallien of Bridgeport, WV. Mrs. Brady was a homemaker, a life member of the Upshur County Farm Bureau and a member of the Ladies Aux. DAV Chapter # 36. Friends will be received Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor David Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Chapel Church Cemetery in French Creek, WV.
