Obituary of Bettie Marie Tenney Bailey

Bettie Bailey Bettie Marie Tenney Bailey Bettie Marie Tenney Bailey, age 77, of Tallmansville, WV died Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. She was born February 18, 1937 in Tallmansville, a daughter of the late Rev. Lloyd and Macie Mills Tenney. On June 4, 1955 she married Thomas E. Bailey who survives. Also surviving is one son, Bryan Bailey of Buckhannon; two sisters, Mildred Echard and friend Delbert Hinkle of Beverly, WV and Bonnie Kelley and husband Les of St. Mary’s, WV and three brothers, Noel Tenney of Tallmansville, Neil Tenney and wife Precilla of Vienna, WV and Donnie Tenney and wife Lorelie of Tallmansville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Gary Bailey. Mrs. Bailey was the Office Manager for Dr. Ramirez and was a member of the Tallmansville Baptist Church and the Tallmansville CEO's. Friends will be received Sunday, May 18, 2014 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Monday at the Tallmansville Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Lewis, Rev. Wease L. Day and the Rev. Chad Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Bailey Cemetery in Buckhannon.
