William E. Warner William Earl Warner William Earl Warner, age 72, of Buckhannon, WV passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Select Specialty Hospital in Latrobe, PA. He was born October 26, 1942 in Buckhannon, a son of the late Leslie and Clara B. Lantz Warner. On November 15, 1963 he married Hattie Sue Marple who preceded him in death on January 20, 2008. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Louise Crites and two brothers, Clarence L. “Bud” Warner and Charles Warner. He is survived by his son, Bob Warner and wife Kristina and one grandson, Seth Warner all of Buckhannon. “Willie” grew up in the Hackers Creek area and worked at Corhart Refractories in Buckhannon for over 35 years. He enjoyed drag racing and hot rods in his younger years, as well as hunting, fishing, racing and going to auctions and yard sales throughout his life. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was a Methodist by faith. Friends will be received Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 2-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Allman officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery.
