Jeannine White Jeannine White Jeannine White, age 79, of Shallotte, NC died Friday, August 21, 2015 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center in Bolivia, NC. She was born June 4, 1936 in Buckhannon, WV, a daughter of the late Forrest and Rebecca Rogers Burroughs. On September 1, 1962 she married Richard L. White who preceded her in death on December 26, 1994. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Richard Brannon. Surviving are one daughter, Tracie Erwin and husband Kenneth of Shallotte; two wonderful grandchildren, Jaymes and Kendra Erwin both of Shallotte; two brothers, Charles “Jack” Jackson Burroughs and wife Hilda of Parkersburg, WV and James “Bud” Forrest Burroughs and wife Carolyn of Glenville, WV; one sister, Martha Brannon of Ocean Isle Beach, NC and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. White was a homemaker. Jeannine had a courageous 5 to 6 year battle with Dementia. Friends will be received Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from 1-2 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 2:30 PM in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon with the Rev. J. Edward McDaniels officiating. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
