Obituary of Thomas Gerald Woofter

Thomas Woofter Thomas Gerald “Tom” Woofter Thomas Gerald “Tom” Woofter, age 62, of Buckhannon, WV died Friday, May 9, 2014. He was born August 1, 1951 in Cleveland, OH, a son of the late Robert and Rosetta Ware Woofter. On October 3, 1975 he married Patty Ann Wilson who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Tommy Woofter and wife Ashlee and Shaun Woofter and wife Caryn both of Buckhannon; three granddaughters, Sierra, Electa and Addison Woofter all of Buckhannon; four brothers, Fred Woofter and wife Shirley, Mike Woofter and wife Karen and Dave Woofter and wife Wendy all of Buckhannon and Steve Woofter and wife Florida of Weston, WV and three sisters, Linda Honaker of Amma, WV, Donna Wimer of Jacksonville, FL and Mary Woods and husband Rod of Buckhannon. Mr. Woofter retired from Weyerhaeuser. Friends will be received Monday, May 12, 2014 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at the funeral home with the Rev. Ed Lowther officiating. Burial will follow in the Kesling Mill Cemetery at Kesling Mill, WV.
