Frederick A. Williams Frederick A. Williams Frederick Arden Williams, age 86, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Serenity Care Home in Buckhannon. He was born May 2, 1927 in Upshur Co., WV, a son of the late Gilbert and Izetta Cowger Williams. On May 23, 1948 he married Maxine Cutright who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Kay Wamsley and husband Chet of Buckhannon and Lynda Bowers and husband Bob of French Creek, WV; three sons, Frederick Allen Williams and wife Linda of Parkersburg, WV, Steve Williams and wife Betty Jo of Fitzgerald, GA and Randy Williams and wife Amy of Nolensville, TN; three granddaughters; five grandsons; eight great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter and four brothers and sisters. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters. Mr. Williams served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a lifetime member of the DAV.
