Obituary of Roger Warner

untitled3 Roger Lee Warner Roger Lee Warner, age 63, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, September 30, 2012 at his home. He was born September 28, 1949 in Upshur County, WV, a son of the late William Lee and Veta Nitz Warner. On July 1, 1987 he married Helen Darlene Westfall, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Jane Ann Warner and Barbara Ann Stanton and husband Bernard, all of Buckhannon; one son, Roger Lee Warner, Jr., of Buckhannon; one grandson, Evan Carpenter of Buckhannon; three granddaughters, Leanna Marie Stanton, Stephanie Stanton and Cloey Raine Warner, all of Buckhannon; one great-granddaughter, Alexa Faith Stanton of Buckhannon; two brothers, Robert Warner and wife Patty and Jimmy Warner, all of Buckhannon; four sisters, Lucy Mae Davis and husband Ralph of French Creek, WV, Betty Bolton and husband Brad of Buckhannon, Wilma Spore of Hackers Creek and Mary Ann Landis and husband William of French Creek and several nieces and nephews. Roger worked in the oil fields for over 30 years and for Nexus Drilling in Jane Lew, WV for 23 years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and four-wheeler. Friends will be received Wednesday, October 3, 2012 from 6-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 11 AM Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wease L. Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Church Cemetery at Hodgesville, WV.
