Obituary of Laura Berthena Weese

untitled3 Laura Berthena Weese Laura Berthena Weese, age 86, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon. She was born September 15, 1925 in Barbour Co. a daughter of the late Francis Marion and Mary Ellen Moore Trimble. On October 20, 1945 she married Ralph Weese who preceded her in death on May 30, 2004. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son Ralph William Weese. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Ellen Plymale and husband Gene, and Susan Currence and husband Michael G. all of Buckhannon; two sons, Donald Francis Weese and wife Denise and David Blaine Weese and wife Deborah all of Buckhannon; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren. Mrs. Weese was one of the first members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Buckhannon and a registered nurse at Leonard Memorial Hospital. She was very passionate about nursing and helped deliver many children in Buckhannon. Friends will be received Friday, August 31, 2012 from 6-8 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Buckhannon. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday at the Church with Bishop Steven Linger officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Memorial Park Cemetery at Buckhannon.
