Obituary of Louise Wamsley

untitled3 Louise Wamsley Louise Wamsley, age 85, of Buckhannon, WV died Wedesday, May 9, 2012 at her home. She was born May 21, 1926 in Upshur County, WV, a daughter of the late French and Beppa Love Lance Cutright. On April 10, 1944 she married Lloyd Sheridan Wamsley, who preceded her in death on March 19, 1983. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy McVicker of Buckhannon and Patricia Regina Bennett and husband Bradford of Olney Mill, MD; one son, Randy Lee Wamsley of Shinnston, WV; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; she was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Wamsley was a homemaker and attended the Calvary Baptist Church in Buckhannon. She enjoyed children, cooking, sewing, puzzles, quilting, and received several blue ribbons in the Strawberry Festival for her quilts and she always tried to help her neighbors. Friends will be received from 12-2 PM on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Marvin Wamsley officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon. Online condolences may be made to family at www.polingstclair.com.
