Obituary of Emma rene Whiting

untitled1 Emma Irene Whiting Emma Irene Whiting, age 84, of Canton, OH died Saturday, August 15, 2009 at the Green Meadows Health Care Facility in Louisville, OH. She was born May 22, 1925 in Gad, WV, a daughter of the late Charles Ira and Harriet Alice Maloney McClung. On May 27, 1948 she married Donald Edward Whiting, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Peggy Ellen Dick of Louisville, OH and Dorothy Elaine Whiting of Akron, OH; one son, Donald Edward Whiting, Jr. and wife Tonya of Bolivar, OH and one sister Sue White of Chattanooga, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Maxine Andrews and one brother-in-law, Billy Whiting. Mrs. Whiting was an Office Manager at Kent State University, Stark Campus. Friends will be received from 2-3 PM, Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 3 PM with the Rev. Billee Scott Mick officiating.
