WilkeLillian Lillian Mae Herron Smith Wilke Lillian Mae Herron Smith Wilke, age 65, of Buckhannon, WV, died Sunday, February 24, 2008 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born November 21, 1942 in Monongah, WV, a daughter of Leonard Herron of Buckhannon and the late Teresa Mae Hartley Herron. On June 13, 1998 she married James A. Wilke who survives. She is also survived by one daughter, Bonnie Carpenter and husband Milton of Tallmansville, WV; one son, Denzil Smith and wife Pearl of Buckhannon; one step daughter, Sara Roberts of Boudel, WI; three grandsons, Milton “Bo” Carpenter of Tallmansville, Brent and Brooks Smith, both of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Amber Sines of Adrian, WV; four brothers, Boyd Herron of Queens, WV, John Herron of Excelsior, WV and Eugene and Dwight Herron, both of Buckhannon and five sisters, Linda Kelley and Emma Zickefoose, both of Buckhannon, Hilda Wagoner and Mabel Kelly, both of Tallmansville and Brenda DeMoss of French Creek, WV. Mrs. Wilke was a Sales Floor Associate for Goodwill. She was a Methodist by faith and a member of BURMA and the Queens Historical Society. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
