WardJunior Junior L. Ward Junior L. Ward, age 85, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Serenity Care Home of Buckhannon. He was born August 4, 1922 in Hemlock, WV, a son of the late Francis and Evelina Leigh Ward. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Carl Ward. He is survived by three sons, Gary Ward and wife Sharri of Gilbert, AZ, Richard Ward and wife Marsha of Largo, FL and Ronald Ward and wife Sharon of Mentor, OH; one grandson, Jason Ward of Largo and one granddaughter, Hillary Ward of Mentor. Mr. Ward was an Inspector for TRW and a member of the Good Hope Tabernacle. He was proud to have served his country in the Marine Corps during WWII. Friends will be received Monday, January 7, 2008 from 6-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Tuesday at the Good Hope Tabernacle with Pastor Holly J. Hoover officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Church Cemetery at Hemlock, WV. Buckhannon VFW Post # 3663, Frank B. Bartlett Post # 7, DAV Chapters # 5 and # 36 will conduct military honors at the graveside. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
