untitled3 Visitation Saturday, August 24, 2013 11:30-Noon Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Memorial Service Saturday, August 24, 2013 Noon Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Donald Beery Donald Beery, age 88, of French Creek, WV died Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born February 23, 1925 in French Creek, a son of the late Leonard S. and Winnfred Ward Beery. On May 24, 1948 he married Lois Crites who survives. Also surviving are one son, Doug Beery and wife Carol of Carlisle, PA; one granddaughter Angela Niswonger and husband Bob of Carlisle; one great granddaughter, Makenna Niswonger of Carlisle and many dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Camile Miller. Mr. Beery served in the U.S. Navy for four years during WWII. He was a Protestant by faith, the owner of Pioneer Campgrounds, a lifelong member of the North American Hunting Club and a member of the American Legion Frank B. Bartlett Post #7. Friends will be received Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 11:30-Noon with a memorial service to follow at noon with the Rev. Conrad Tenney officiating.
