VioletWamsley Violet Arlene Wamsley Violet Arlene Wamsley, age 76, of Buckhannon, WV died Friday, December 1, 2006 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born November 8, 1930 in Hall, WV, a daughter of the late Charlie Smith and Ada Matilda Sothen Campbell. On August 10, 1968 she married James Ray Wamsley who preceded her in death on March 6, 1986. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, Forest Campbell and Charlie Smith Campbell, Jr. and three sisters, Louise Walton, Beda Queen and Rosie Gibson. She is survived by several nieces and nephews; two brothers, Wilbert Campbell and wife Roslynn of Garrettsville, OH and Lafie Campbell and wife Norma of Cuyahoga Falls, OH and three sisters, Judy Beer and husband Ed of Buckhannon, Juanita Adams and husband Charlie of Buckhannon and Hazel Walton of Buckhannon. Mrs. Wamsley was a homemaker. She was a Methodist by faith and was involved with the Upshur County Humane Society. Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Sunday, December 3, 2006 at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home with the Rev. Mitch Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Church Cemetery in Buckhannon. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
