Obituary of Gordon James Thomas

Gordon James Thomas Gordon James Thomas Gordon James Thomas, age 83, of Buckhannon, WV died Friday, April 8, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born January 15, 1933 in Lancaster County, PA, a son of the late William Wilbur and Ida May Hawkins Thomas. On September 21, 1952 he married Nellie Lewis who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Linda Dean of Citrus Springs, FL and Belinda Ellen Timmins and Kevin J. Gray of Mountville, PA; one son M. Glenn Lewis and wife Dee A. Reeves of Towanda, PA; one granddaughter, Chelsey Marie Spangler of Lewistown, PA; three grandsons, Erich Dean of Dennellon, FL, Matthew Gordon Timmins and wife Katie Lynn Brenholtz of Mountville and Alex John Spangler and wife Jasmine Renee Seiler of Milroy, PA and two great grandchildren on the way. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Virginia Ann Spangler. Mr. Thomas served in the U.S. Army in Korea during the Korean Conflict. He was a maintenance engineer for Dean Foods and a lifetime member of the N.R.A., the VFW and the Loyal Order of the Moose in PA.
