Obituary of Mary Sue Tenney

MaryTenney Mary Sue Tenney Mary S.Tenney of French Creek, Wv died at home in the early morning hours of March 31st, 2016, at the young age of 55, with her husband Danny by her side. It is with great sadness we mourn the loss of our wife, mother, nana, sister & friend. She was welcomed in birth by her parents Victor & Burma Lea Young Hammer on April 2nd, 1960 in Cowen, WV. She was later joined in childhood at Sago with her sister Diana Gould wife of Danny of Adrian. In life Mary was blessed with children Melissa Naylor and husband Jesse of Webster Co., Alfie Tenney who preceded her in death, Joshua Tenney of French Creek, Danny Tenney Jr and special companion Brittany Miller of Jane Lew and Dusty Adam Tenney and wife Ambrea also of French Creek. She later became Nana to Joshua Tenney II, Brylee, Myiah, and Waylyn, also one niece Ashley Gould and daughter IzsaBella. Adding to her family was her mother and father-in- law, Robert Dewey and Mamie Tenney, along with brother and sisters-in-law, Robert and wife Julia, Edd and wife Debbie, Connie and husband Jerry, Ginger and husband Dennis, Matthew and wife Angie and Nettie and husband Jamie. Mary will also leave behind wonderful friends Iris Day, Dixie and Rodger McCormick. Sadly in death along with her parents she will be rejoined with her son Alfie and a nephew Franklin Gould. Friends will be received Tuesday, April 5th, 2016 from 11 AM to 12 Noon at the Poling St. Clair Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 12 Noon at the funeral home with Pastor Laurie McCormick officiating. Mary will be lovingly carried by family and friends to lay in wait until the Day of Resurrection in the Elbon Cemetery in Sago, WV.
