Obituary of William R. Trinkle

William R. Trinkle, age 79, of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born May 17, 1936 in Wise County, VA, a son of the late Paul and Vergie Cassell Trinkle. On April 8, 1978 he married Geraldine Ours who survives. Also surviving are one son, Bernard Stanton and wife Barbara of Ellamore, WV; one daughter, Rebecca Esquer of Lewis Co., WV; two grandsons, Gregory Esquer Jr. of Lewis Co. and Andrew Esquer of Washington, DC; three granddaughters, Ariel Guady and husband Damian of Hodgesville, WV, Leanna Stanton of Buckhannon and Stephanie Stanton of Ellamore; three great granddaughters, Alexa Stanton of Buckhannon and Bralynn and Aniyah Guady both of Hodgesville; one brother, Bob Trinkle of OH; one sister, Brenda Newcomer of OH and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Lower and Helen Tenney. Mr. Trinkle served in the United States Army. Friends will be received January 30, 2016 from 1 to 2 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A memorial service will held 2 PM Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to help with funeral expenses. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
