Carl Junior Tanner
Carl Junior Tanner, age 85, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, WV. He was born September 27, 1928 in Cadis, OH, a son of the late Edmond and Lula Plum Tanner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert M. and Raymond C. Tanner. He is survived by a friend, Rose Wilson of Buckhannon. Mr. Tanner was a coal miner and served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home on Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 10 AM until 12 Noon with the Rev. J. Edward McDaniels officiating. A graveside service will follow at 2 PM in the WV National Cemetery in Pruntytown, WV with Military Honor being conducted. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
