Obituary of Straud P. Tenney

untitled3 Visitation Friday, April 6, 2012 5-9 PM Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Funeral Service Saturday, April 7, 2012 11 AM Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Burial Center Chapel UM Church Cem. “Chuck” Straud Primm Tenney, II “Chuck” Straud Primm Tenney, II, age 52 of French Creek, WV died Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at his home under the care of People’s Hospice. He was born September 9, 1959 in Buckhannon, WV a son of the late Straud Primm and Lena Mae Russell Tenney. On September 2, 1995 he married Goldie A. Brown who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Mikayla Tenney of French Creek; two brothers, Freeman Tenney of Alexander, WV and Lester Tenney of Derby, KS; one sister Carolyn Cunningham of Heaters, WV. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one infant brother; three sisters, Beulah Mae Marsh, Norma Jean Vaughn and Lucille Sayer. Mr. Tenney was a pipe liner for L.A. Pipeline and attended Caanan Community Church. He was a member of Labor Union #984, Rock Cave Lodge #81 AF & AM and the Operators Union #81. He enjoyed playing the guitar especially gospel music in church. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Friends will be received Friday, April 6, 2012 from 5-9 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, at the funeral home with Andrew Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Center ChapelUnited Methodist Church Cemetery at French Creek. Rock Cave Lodge # 81 AF&AM will conduct masonic graveside rites.
