untitled2 Beulah “Lea” Thomas Beulah “Lea” Thomas, age 79, of Buckhannon, WV, died Friday, January 13, 2012 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. She was born March 3, 1932 in Hazelpatch, KY, a daughter of the late David and Mary Robinson Clifford. On October 25, 1952 she married Ralph (Tommy) Thomas who preceded her in death on July 2, 2000. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by one daughter, Anne Crites and husband Rusty of Buckhannon; one son, David Thomas and wife Donna of Whippany, NJ; three granddaughters, Tammy Crites of Morgantown, WV and Lisa and Jackie Crites both of Buckhannon; two grandsons, Billy and Eddie Twomey, both of Whippany; special niece, Georgia Rush and husband Bill of Cincinnati, OH and three great nieces, Kimberly Combs and husband David, Tammy Cordray and husband Marc and Susan Kelley and husband Donald, all of Cincinnati. Mrs. Thomas was a Real Estate Agent, a member of the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church and a member of the California, PA Senior Citizens Bridge Club. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all. Friends will be received Monday, January 16, 2012 from 4-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Joseph M. Shreve officiating. Burial will follow in the West Virginia National Cemetery in Pruntytown, WV. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Assoc.
