Obituary of Dennis Gene Tenney

untitled2 Dennis Gene Tenney Dennis Gene Tenney age 64 of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. He was born December 26, 1946 in Buckhannon, a son of the late Leland W. and Wanda J. Hawkins Tenney. On June 1, 1966 he married Navonda “Donnie” Smallridge, who survives. He is also survived by one son, Dennis Gene Tenney, II of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Lacey N. Tenney of Buckhannon; one grandson, Kendall S. Tenney of Buckhannon; three brothers, Douglas Tenney of King George, VA, Delmar Tenney and Jamie Tenney, both of Buckhannon and three sisters, Kathryn Reed, Shirley Reed and Linda Keffer, all of Buckhannon. Mr. Tenney was a trucker and a member of the Ten Mile United Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 6-8 PM, Friday, November 11, 2011 at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wease L. Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery at Tallmansville, WV.
