untitled2 Bernice V. Tokarcik Bernice V. Tokarcik, age 89, of Buckhannon, WV died Monday, October 3, 2011 at Colonial Place in Elkins, WV. She was born May 11, 1922 in Gilmer Station, WV, a daughter of the late Justus G. and Goldie Gay Connor Luzader. On June 7, 1940 she married Steve Paul Tokarcik who preceded her in death on June 2, 1996. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Madeline Apperson and Dolly Rittenhouse. She is survived by two sons, Gary S. Tokarcik and wife Carolyn of Beverly, WV and Paul E. Tokarcik and wife Bonnie of Stonewood, WV; one granddaughter, Pamela Cox of Stonewood; one grandson, Steven Tokarcik of Stonewood; one great-grandson, Lee Cox and wife Carly of Stonewood; two great-granddaughters, Haleigh Tokarcik of Clarksburg, WV and Gianna Cox of Stonewood; one brother, Justus Luzader, Jr. of Tridelphia, WV and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Tokarcik was a homemaker and a member of the Tennerton United Methodist Church of Buckhannon. She graduated from Roosevelt-Wilson High School with the class of 1940. Friends will be received Thursday, October 6, 2011 from 4-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 11 AM Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jeff Zickefoose and Pastor Richard Settles officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
