Obituary of Betty Jo Tenney

untitled2 Betty Jo Tenney Betty Jo Tenney, age 79, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, February 27, 2011 in Buckhannon. She was born May 31, 1931 in Adrian, WV, a daughter of the late Willis R. and Waneta V. Knicley Riffle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle F. Tenney; two infant children; one brother, James Riffle and one sister in law, Johanna Riffle. She is survived by one daughter, Kelley Ryan of Buckhannon; one son, Mark F. Tenney of Lexington, KY; one grandson; five granddaughters; two sisters, Nancy Casto of Buckhannon and Barbara A. Darocha and husband Jacob of Fairmont, WV and two brothers, Fred Riffle and wife Joanne of French Creek, WV and Roger Riffle and wife Pauline of Copley, OH. Mrs. Tenney was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church. Friends will be received Friday, March 4, 2011 from 11 AM until 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Flynn and the Rev. Stella Moyer officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery at Hinkleville, WV.
